Christmas Pullman Services will be running for the festive season among a few others.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) has announced festive experiences, including the Christmas Pullman, Christmas Charters and Christmas Afternoon Tea.

The special steam hauled services will be running from Grosmont station to Pickering, taking around 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The Christmas Pullman will feature a three-course themed meal and private coupes and will be running on the following dates:

November –

• 26th-29th

December –

• 3rd – 6th
• 10th – 13th
• 17th – 20th
• 28th – 30th

January will also have a couple of days from the 2nd to the 5th. The Pullman package will cost £99 and the private compartment will cost £425.

The Christmas Charters will include parties and awards on board the Great Western Saloon. The dates for this include the 26th, 27th, and 28th November, the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 20th, and the 28th-30th December. Again, this features in January on the 2nd-5th. The package for the charters will cost £1595.

Lastly, the Afternoon Tea will be on the Great Western Saloon carriage on the 28th of November, and the 5th, 12th and 19th of December. The Afternoon tea will cost £85 per person.
