Everyone at RailAdvent would like to wish all our readers a Merry Christmas. We are taking a few days off and hope that you get a chance to have a break also.

Another year is almost over and there has been lots of interesting and exciting news during 2024. Over the next few days, we will be taking a look back at 2024, and also a look ahead to 2025!

From Boxing Day until the 1st of January, there will be a daily deal in our online store, so keep a look out on www.railadvent.co.uk/sale every day to make sure you don’t miss out as some of these products are limited stock and will not return.

If you are looking for things to do over the next few days, whilst staying nice and warm at home, here are a few suggestions:

• We have over 55 hours of streaming video to watch, featuring many popular locomotives, some of which are not currently in steam. You can browse the streaming library here.
• Take a look at our online community, there have been thousands of photographs shared and you are welcome to upload your own pictures and create albums full of your favourites.
• If you are a collector of railway books, then we have a large collection of book reviews for you to look back through.
