We have today released Part 2 of Disc 2 of our visit to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
We begin the video at Damems Junction as we see 4F 43924 arrive with a passenger train from Oxenhope, and this would pass 45596 Bahamas, which heading to Oxenhope.
Next up in the video was Mytholmes Tunnel, where we positioned ourselves at the Haworth end to see 4F 43924 pass through with a service to Oxenhope. This locomotive is now out of service awaiting an overhaul so it is nice to watch back and relive these moments.
Now it was time for a doubleheader, with visiting Large Prairie 4144 (from the Didcot Railway Centre) seen approaching Oxenhope with KWVR resident BR Standard 2 No. 78022
Staying between Haworth and Oxenhope, we see LMS Jubilee No. 45596 Bahamas passing ‘Top Field’ with an Oxenhope service.
Double heading returns next as we down to Ingrow West and see 45212 heading towards Keighley with 45596 in the consist.
The galas are always great to see unusual trains running, such as the next shot with 78022 heading to Ingrow with a Keighley – Ingrow shuttle.
Sticking with unusual trains, we next head to Oakworth to see the steam crane in action as well as see 41241 and 78022 pass through with the express to Oxenhope.
An action-packed episode I am sure you will agree! Tune in next Tuesday for the next part!
