Steam locomotive to pass through Leicester this week

Vintage Trains will be running their Christmas White Rose this Wednesday (27th November) to York.

The tour will be hauled by either 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe or 7029 Clun Castle.

The train will depart Coleshill Parkway at 08:00 and will pass through Nuneaton (08:27), Leicester (08:58), East Midlands Parkway (09:32), Langley Mill (09:55), Chesterfield (10:14), Swinton (South Yorkshire) (10:49), Pontefract Baghill (11:07) and York at 12:18.

After time in York, the train will depart at 16:39 and will pass through Doncaster (17:11), Chesterfield (18:15), East Midlands Parkway (18:59), Leicester (19:34), Nuneaton (20:19) and Coleshill Parkway at 20:50.
