The Northern Belle is running once again this week, and this time will feature LMS Black 5 No. 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier for part of its journey.

The tour starts from Telford Central behind diesel locomotives. Departing Telford Central at 07:38 and will pass through Shrewsbury (07:58), Wrexham General (08:40), (09:08), Warrington Bank Quay (09:42), (10:09), Lancaster (10:36) and Carnforth North Junction at 10:49.

Here, 45407 is added to the train. Departing here at 11:27, the steam train will make its way through Oxenholme Lake District (12:43), Penrith North Lakes (12:21) and Carlisle at 12:43.

After time in Carlisle, 45407 will depart at 15:09 and will pass through Lazonby & Kirkoswald (15:33), Appleby (15:53), Garsdale (16:22), Ribblehead (16:34) and at 16:56, where 45407 comes off the train.

The tour returns to Telford via Clitheroe (18:00), Blackburn (18:25, (18:54), Bank Quay (19:04), Crewe (19:29), Telford Central (20:38), Shrewsbury (21:02), Wrexham General (21:40) and Chester at 22:05.
