Bachmann has today revealed a total of 168 new items for its Winter 2024 British Railways range.
The new products are a culmination of 6 new tooling projects that have been announced alongside new models.
The big news for 00 scale is that the LSWR T3 has been announced as a new range. These were revealed to members of the Collectors Club during a Members Day at the Swanage Railway.
The T3 will come as part of the EFE Rail range and will be available in five guises including the preserved 563.
New versions of the SR Booster Locomotive, as No. 20001 in BR green, a Plasser 12T crane in Balfour Beatty livery will also be delivered this winter.
In N scale, EFE Rail’s Class 41 ‘Warship’, announced at September’s N Gauge Show, will be delivered with six models making up the offering. Joining the Warship will be a Mk1 POT Post Office Tender.
Pioneering Diesels No. 10000 and 10001 also feature in the Winter range along with ver versions of Mk2A coaches, CCTs and Stanier Full brakes.
Back at the Ffestiniog Railway’s Bygones Weekends, Tin Cars 119 and 120 were announced. The Curly Roof Van and a Brake Third will be the next coaches to be produced in 009 by Bachmann.
The Branchline Range has a heavy steam theme for Winter, with new models of the LNWR G2 and G2A, both with the option of being Sound Fitted for the first time and will be available in a number of liveries.
4575 Prairie Tanks, 8750 Pannier Tanks and Class 56XX 0-6-2Ts all return to the Branchline range, all again in a number of liveries.
Mk1 coaches including BSO, FO and RB will be available in BR Blue and Grey for the first time with the BSO being modified to have a micro buffet.
Official licensing is now available for the 4TC to arrive in the Branchline range, appearing in London Transport Maroon.
Scenecraft also returns with a number of scenery additions, which are sure to finish off your model layouts perfectly.
