UPDATE: Lines have now reopened. Major is now expected until 1 pm

Two out of the four railway lines between and Stratford (London) are closed this morning as emergency services attend an incident.

Major disruption is expected until 11am this morning (4th November), with London Overground’s services also being disrupted.

London Overground says that no trains can run whilst the emergency services deal with the incident, with ticket acceptance in place with London Buses.

With two lines open, Greater Anglia trains have to share these with the busy Elizabeth Line so there is residual congestion being caused by the incident.

Elizabeth Line ticket acceptance is in place with c2c, London Underground and London Buses, whilst Greater Anglia says that passengers can travel with East Railway, London Underground and c2c.

Please check National Rail for the latest information.
