Greater Anglia is following the example of many retailers in having its own Black Friday offer that offers great reductions on tickets bought in advance.

Customers taking advantage of the special Black Friday offer to obtain cheaper tickets, will need to sign up for the Greater Anglia newsletter by this Thursday, 28th November.

On Black Friday, 29th November, Greater Anglia will send an email containing a discount code to everyone who has signed up for the newsletter.

Once customers have received a discount code. It can be used to obtain a saving on selected advance and off-peak tickets for journeys to and from London Liverpool Street, including from London Liverpool Street to Cambridge, Ipswich to London Liverpool Street, and Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street.

Customers can use their discount code to purchase tickets from Friday, 29th November, until 23.59 on Friday, 13th December, for travel from Saturday, 30th November 2024, until Friday, 31st January 2025.

For customers who miss out on the Black Friday offer, Greater Anglia has a range of Advance fares that provide savings of from 60% to 70% on the standard prices for tickets purchased at ticket offices. They also offer 2FOR1 entry to many top attractions across London and East Anglia.

As well as savings obtained through purchasing Advance purchase tickets, Greater Anglia also has other tickets that provide savings and are available all year round. These include GroupSave tickets for people travelling in a group of three or more, special London evening out tickets for anyone who wishes to Spend the night in London, and a Club 50 discount for those aged 50 and over.

As with all special offers, Greater Anglia reminds customers that to obtain the best value fares they should book in advance; and the earlier they book, the more they can save.

The Black Friday offer is a standalone promotion and excludes the use of Railcards and other discounts in conjunction with the discount code. The full terms and conditions of the offer can be found online at https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/signup.
