Where to see steam locomotive 45212 this Saturday

The Northern Belle is running once again this weekend (Saturday 24th October) and this time it will be part hauled by LMS Black 5 No. 45212.

Departing Nottingham at 06:15, the train will start out diesel-hauled and will pass through Derby (06:39), Chesterfield (07:39), Bamford (08:13), New Mills Central (08:37), Manchester Victoria (09:23) and Preston at 10:14 before arriving into Carnforth North Junction at 10:50, where 45212 will take over the train.

With 45212 on the train, it will leave Carnforth at 11:28 and pass through Penrith North Lakes at 12:22 before arriving into at 12:44.

After time in Carlisle, the train will depart at 15:21 and will pass through Appleby (16:05), (16:35) and Ribblehead (16:49) before heading to Hellifield, where it will arrive at 17:11.

Here, the steam is replaced for diesel power. Departing Hellifield at 17:50, the train will head back to Nottingham via (18:32), Copy Pit (19:04), Wakefield Kirkgate (19:56), (20:14), Sheffield (20:33), Chesterfield (21:01), Derby (21:39) and Nottingham at 22:37.
