The Nene Valley Railway has provided an update on the visit of 60163 Tornado.
The lengthy overhaul of the A1 locomotive is now nearing completion and has been based at the Great Central Railway in Leicestershire whilst running in takes place.
However, the Nene Valley Railway has announced that the locomotive is to arrive at their base this Monday ahead of a visit.
Tornado is set to haul trains on the 19th/20th/26th and 27th of October with tickets costing £25 for an adult.
The NVR is also running a driver experience day on the 25th of October ahead of Tornado’s return to the mainline.
