The Bury Standard 4 Group has released a short update on Ivatt Class 2 Mogul No. 46428, which is based on the East Lancashire Railway.

Work has recently focussed on fitting out of the externals of the smokebox, which is now nearly completed.

The smokebox has now been placed on the saddle and has had a new number plate and shedcode attached.

10A, normally now known as Carnforth, was, for a period in the 1950s, the shed code for Wigan Springs Branch (later renumbered to 8F).

Earlier in the year, the new cab was completed, but this is now sheeted up to protect from the winter weather.

 We are making progress. She looks like somebody loves her!
