Dovetail Games and Just Trains have announced the release date for the West Coast Main Line: Preston – Carlisle add-on.

Just Trains made their debut for Train Sim World with the excellent Blackpool Branches add-on, featuring the Class 142 DMU (a video of Blackpool Branches is below!).

They remain in the North West for their next piece of DLC by developing the longest UK route in the Train Sim World franchise.

Almost 100 miles of track is included between Preston and Carlisle and the DLC will also include the Morecambe Branch!

Players will be able to experience a bygone era and drive the striking Class 87 locomotive, which is also new to the game.

TSW5’s new Route Hopping feature will further expand the playability of the route as you can ‘hop’ between Blackpool Branches and Preston – Carlisle.

Further expansions to the game can be played if you have other DLCs such as Tees Valley, Northern TransPennine and Flying Scotsman.

The route will launch on the 21st of November and will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, Epic and Steam for £32.99.
