London Northwestern Railway has said that trains between Northampton and Milton Keynes Central have to run at a reduced speed due to a track defect.
The defect affects trains towards London Euston and has reduced trains running towards London to an hourly service.
Disruption is expected until the end of service today (28th October 2024).
Network Rail is already planning to fix the track defect but no confirmation of when this will take place has been announced.
Note: Avanti West Coast is NOT affected by this issue.
