is urging passengers to plan ahead, as strike action takes place on Underground this November.

Chiltern Railways services between London Marylebone and Aylesbury via Amersham run on the Metropolitan Line, meaning they will be disrupted due to the strike action.

Strike action by both ASLEF and RMT unions will take place on different days between Friday 1st November and Saturday 16th November.

Chiltern Railways says that services on the 5th,6th,7th, and 8th of November will be affected due to strike action as well as the 12th of November.

Engineering work taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of November will mean that bus services will connect with trains to and from London at Beaconsfield.

“I would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding as the industrial action will disrupt our services on the Metropolitan Line in November.

“On certain days between Friday 1 November and Saturday 16 November there will be no Chiltern services operating between London Marylebone and Great Missenden so I urge customers to plan ahead.”

Michael Stewart, Commercial & Customer Strategy Director at Chiltern Railways
