The 16-mile (SVR) has confirmed dates for its annual special events which will once again be returning in 2025.

To cap it off next year sees the Severn Valley Railway celebrate their 60th anniversary since the pioneering efforts to first preserve the line back in 1964.

2025 will also see a national and international celebration as Rail 200 celebrations will be taking place across the UK and the globe to mark 200 years since the first railway in the world opened between Stockton and Darlington in 1825.

The Severn Valley Railway also has plans in motion to celebrate this significant milestone.
