Improvements at Flint and Runcorn East have been completed by Transport for Wales.
The million-pound investment has seen improvements to CCTV, help points, waiting shelters, seating, lighting and signage.
Additional work at Flint has seen improvements to the ticket office, waiting rooms, water refill units, toilets, new customer information screens and landscaping. This work was supported through the Railway Heritage Trust, which gave a grant of £90,000.
A disused building at Flint was also turned into a new community and staff room.
“These much needed refurbishments will make a real difference for station users.
“By providing space for community groups, social enterprises, and local businesses – these stations will become important hubs within the communities they serve.”
Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, Ken Skates
