  1. It will be better for everyone if simple (albeit expensive) rails are put in place on underground and trains to stop accidents and suicides.

  2. Our EMR 15.48 train was cancelled…no explanation, adviced to get 14.59. Suddenly Terminated at Kentish town, had to carry heavy luggage up many stairs over bridge, no lift or escalators, no help, partner nearly collapsed, people with pushchairs & babies, terrible so dangerous. Could have warned us before wouldn’t have bothered, would have got later train.

    1. This shows how certain ‘correct’ decisions (the curtailment of all services) can carry unintended consequences. The widespread speed restrictions imposed after the Hatfield crash led to so many passengers abandoning rail travel that it was believed a number were then involved in road accidents that they wouldn’t have been, had they kept using trains. But there was no data to prove that, so it didn’t matter (apparently).

      1. I hope you’ve now found out WHY this was announced, mainly not to upset PASSENGERS and to let this poor soul’s family know before YOU. Hope you hang your head in shame!
