Passengers can use rail travel to enjoy the best East-Anglia offers between Saturday 24 August and Monday 26 August.
The only significant work in the region will take place between Grays and Pitsea and will disrupt passenger services from 15:00 on Saturday, 24 August to Monday 26 August.
However, in that period, a rail replacement bus service will operate between Grays and Pitsea, serving stations via Tilbury.

Over the holiday weekend, passengers can enjoy travel from London Liverpool Street to Norwich, Cambridge and Stansted, and also the rural lines to coastal destinations, scenic historic towns and cities.
Network Rail still advises passengers travelling further afield to check with National Rail enquiries or with their train operator before travelling, as engineering work may affect journeys elsewhere in the country.
Passengers should also be aware of in-train testing of new digital signalling systems on the East Coast Main Line from late on Saturday 24 August through to early Monday morning.
This will affect journeys on Great Northern and Thameslink services travelling from Cambridge to King’s Cross or St Pancras.
A revised train service will run between Royston and Cambridge, Ely and Kings Lynn. A rail replacement bus service will run between Royston and Hitchin and from Hitchin to Potters Bar.
Great Northern and Thameslink passengers can check their bank holiday weekend journey plans by visiting https://www.greatnorthernrail.com/travel-information/plan-your-journey/planned-engineering-work
Network Rail has advised that over this August Bank Holiday, most of Britain’s railway network will run as normal.
We’ve worked hard with our train operators to keep disruption down to a minimum for this August bank holiday. It’s an important time of year for leisure travellers, day-trippers and tourists to explore east-Anglia and there is no better way to do that than by rail.
Lawrence Bowman, Network Rail’s route director for Anglia
Our region has so much to offer, whether it’s a trip to the city or coast, shopping or sightseeing, or a summer festival.
“We have a lot of great destinations on our network, and we hope people are able to enjoy a day out by train this summer bank holiday weekend
Jamie Burles, Greater Anglia managing director

Network Rail needs to sort out Basildon station with the missing platform on platform 2 as well as a new station building at Wickford. And to replace the last remaining overhead wires on the Southend Victoria line (Prittlewell-Southend Victoria). And to replace ageing overhead wires between West Ham-Fenchurch Street.
