Passengers are being warned to check before travelling this morning after a ‘network wide’ IT issue is leading to short term cancellations.

A number of operators are known to be affected, including Great , , Thameslink, Southern, Trains, TransPennine Express, Lumo, Great Western Railway, , West Midlands Railway, and Northern.

Due to the issue, some train operators cannot access driver diagrams at some depots, meaning that trains will need to be cancelled.

Other systems, including real-time customer information is also affected.

More updates will be released via National Rail Enquiries.
