Oxfordshire – Warwickshire railway line set for closure this Sunday

The line between North and is to close this Sunday (14th July) in order to allow engineering works to be completed.

Additionally, bridge work will take place between Bicester North and Kings Sutton, as well as tunnel work between Banbury and Leamington Spa, passengers are urged to allow extra time this Sunday

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Bicester Village – Banbury – Leamington Spa
  • Bicester Village – Banbury – Stratford Upon Avon
  • Bicester Village – Kings Sutton – Banbury

Buses will run from Bicester Village for journeys to/from . Buses from Leamington Spa will connect with trains to/from Moor Street.

No through trains between and Birmingham will operate, and no services will operate from Bicester North station.
