Witnesses are being sought after following an assault at an Essex station earlier this week.

On the 17th July, at around 8:51pm, a man was outside Walton-on-the-Naze station when he was approached by another man who assaulted him with a golf club.

Paramedics were called to the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital.

Since the assault, a man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH but has been bailed pending further enquiries.
