Emmauel Arosomade, aged 19, has been jailed for more than three years for carrying a police baton as well as heroin and cocaine.

The 19-year-old from Walthamstow was sentenced at Inner Crown Court, receiving a sentence of 40 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £228.

On the 2nd May, Emmauel was spotted by BTP County Lines officers at trying to board a train to Northampton. Due to his behaviour when approached by officers, a decision was made to detain him.

The value of drugs found on him was estimated to be around £1100

“Attempting to transport hefty hauls of class A drugs in plain sight on the railway is not a good idea. We have highly trained specialist officers working across the country as part of our County Lines Taskforce – we are watching you and you will be apprehended and face the consequences.”

Investigating officer T/DC Daniel Burke
