The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway have announced that GWR Manor No. 7820 Dinmore Manor will be visiting them in September.
Visiting courtesy of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway and Dinmore Manor Locomotive Ltd, 7820 is the first tender locomotive to visit the railway in a significant period.
It is also believed to be the first Manor to haul a train to Chinnor.
The gala on the 13th-15th September will feature intensive running with three steam locomotives in operation.
Also in operation will be GWR Small Prairie No. 4555, courtesy of the Dartmouth Steam Railway as well as an unconfirmed locomotive.
