The team entered the Wolf Run, a demanding 10 km run and obstacle course filled with mud and other challenges to showcase the multidisciplinary spirit of SLC Rail.

The gruelling nature of this event inspired SLC to assemble a team as part of its ’15 for 15 years’ initiative to undertake 15 challenges or acts of kindness to celebrate the rail project consultancy’s 15th anniversary.

The team comprised employees from different roles and disciplines within the company.

The Wolf Run is an annual event. The striking Stanford Hall estate in serves as the setting for the course.

Wild springs and dense woodland make this course both beautiful and challenging. Impressive man-made structures combine with intricate trails, lakes, and streams to provide entrants with a full-body workout.

For many Wolf Runners, the highlight of the race is the infamous Mud Sucker obstacle that fosters a pack mentality.

Despite being the first experience of this type of event for most of the participants, they completed the gruelling course in about 2 hours, thanks to their determination, drive and, above all, teamwork.

In order to accomplish that, they faced 30 challenges, such as cargo nets, walls to climb, tunnels to crawl through, balancing on slack lines, and wading through mud quagmires!
