Dovetail Games has announced the launch of its latest tram simulator, this time based in the fictional city of Tramau.
Players can be a tram driver, attempting to transport passengers around the city in one of the simulator’s three modern, realistic trams while following the timetable as closely as possible.
However, there is also the option of being an operations manager.
This new ‘career mode’ lets players attempt to develop the city’s network by collecting XP in order to purchase more trams and build new lines, connecting up the city’s 39 tram stops.
The simulator is part of Dovetail’s range of simulators for city transport, and it is hoped that an even greater range of transport modes and maps will be available soon.
The early access price for the simulator comes in at £24.99/29.99€/$29.99.
Those who purchase now will gain access to trams that the City Transport Simulator team is still working on, and will be the first to receive new releases, including trams based on the Vienna network.
The Tramau simulator comes from the same group which has made multiple train simulators for the UK rail network.
These include the North Wales coast line from Holyhead to Crewe, and the Cathcart Circle line in the Glasgow area.
The Tramau simulator has been produced in collaboration with an Austrian developer, ViewApp.
More information about the Tramau tram simulator is available over on the Dovetail Games website, which can be accessed here.
