To further their enquiries into the robbery of a vulnerable man outside Liverpool Lime Street station, British Transport Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
The robbery took place shortly before 4.30 pm on Wednesday, 8th May. The victim was lured to the car park next to Liverpool Lime Street station where he was approached by two men wearing face coverings.
These men made the victim empty his pockets, stole his phone and cash, and went on to smash his glasses.
British Transport Police officers would like to speak to the men shown in the CCTV images, as they are believed to have information that could help with their investigation.
If anyone recognises either of the men shown in the CCTV images, they are asked to contact British Transport Police by text on 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 436 of 8 May 2024.
Alternatively, anyone who recognises the men or has information about the robbery can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
British Transport Police often issue CCTV images to help their investigations, such as after the theft of a defibrillator from a station in South London, and the assault on a train near Darlington.
