Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower to pass through Dawlish this Saturday

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower is set to haul part of The English Riviera Express this Saturday, 1st June.

Departing Crewe with diesel traction at 05:10, the train will pass through Stafford (05:35), Penkridge (05:46), Wolverhampton (06:05), Sandwell and Dudley (06:19), New Street (06:32), Barnt Green (06:56), Worcestershire Parkway (07:14), Cheltenham Spa (07:36), Parkway (08:34), Bristol Temple Meads (08:48) and Taunton at 09:28.

Here, 61306 Mayflower will be attached to the train and will depart at 09:57. The locomotive will then pass through Exeter St Davids (10:36), Warren (10:51), (11:18), Paignton (11:36) and Kingswear at 12:12.

After time at Kingswear, the train will depart at 15:29 and will pass through (16:48), Dawlish Warren (16:56), Exeter St Davids (17:21), Taunton (18:39 – NOTE: Now diesel hauled), Bristol Temple Meads (19:20), Bristol Parkway (19:35), Cheltenham Spa (20:37), Worcestershire Parkway (20:57), Barnt Green (21:20), Birmingham New Street (21:46), Sandwell and Dudley (22:13), Penkridge (22:43), Stafford (22:55) and Crewe at 23:26.
