LMS Black 5 No. 44871 will be passing through Newcastle this Saturday (18th May 2024) as part of The Edinburgh Flyer.
Departing York at 07:27, the train will pass through Thirsk (08:02), Northallerton (08:11), Durham (08:49), Newcastle (09:19), Alnmouth (10:45), Berwick-upon-Tweed (11:48), Reston (12:41), Dunbar (13:07), Prestonpans (13:28) and Edinburgh at 13:42.
After time in Edinburgh, the train will make the return journey via the ECML, passing through Prestonpans (17:02), Reston (17:59), Alnmouth (19:26), Newcastle (21:04), Durham (21:28), Northallerton (22:13) and York at 22:50.
