Steam locomotive 35018 British India Line set for Swanage Railway visit

35018 British India Line passes through Long Preston

The has announced that, courtesy of , 35018 British India Line will visit as part of the Strictly Bulleid II Gala.

Taking part in the three day event, 35018 British India Line will also bring six Mk1s down from Carnforth for use during the event.

The gala will be the largest gathering of Bulleid Pacifics (8) since 1967

The gala will take place between 7th and 9th June with a preview day on the 6th June 2024.

Overnight running will also feature at the gala for the first time since 2003.
