Transport for Greater is advising passengers to check before travelling after the – Piccadilly line was suspended.

Overhead wire issues have closed the line, with TfGM saying trams will operate between and Cornbrook.

Ticket acceptance is in place on the Bee Network using 245 and 263 buses as well as Northern services between Altrincham and the city centre.

Transport for has also advised passengers that destinations on this line are easily accessed by walking.

Due to a overhead line issue at Old Trafford, the Altrincham – Piccadilly line is currently suspended.

Trams will continue to operate between Bury and Cornbrook.
