With warmer days on the horizon, travelling on a Greater Anglia is an ideal way to reach many of the events taking place in Hertfordshire this month.
As an added incentive, a range of discounts from the cost of full-price tickets are available, including cheaper tickets when bought in advance, Ranger tickets, and a Family & Friends Railcard.
With most stations having car parking, further savings can be had by parking at the stations instead of searching for a car ark and paying a higher price at the county’s tourist hot spots.
Among the events taking place in Hertfordshire this month that are accessible by train are Arts and Crafts for Adults in Hertford and the Herts Book Festival 2024 at Hertford Castle.
Arts and Crafts for Adults
Arts and Crafts for Adults is being held at Hertford Museum next Friday, 10 May when experienced printmaker Geoff Bennet will be running a Mono Printing workshop.
