The Bluebell Railway has announced that 34059 ‘Sir Archibald Sinclair’ will be rededicated on the 15th June.

The locomotive has undergone extensive work and has returned to full working order.

Tim Dunn, known for his passion of railway preservation, will join Bluebell Railway chairman, Roy Watts, for the rededication.

The work has taken 12 years and 34059 returned to working order in the latter half of 2023, making a surprise appearance on service trains on New Year’s Day 2024.

However, the locomotive has now been fulled painted and lined, with the locomotive now ready to return to active service at the Bluebell Railway.
