More seats are to be added to services between Motherwell and Balloch this Sunday (28th April) as thousands head to take part in Glasgow‘s biggest ever charity Kiltwalk.

A record-setting 14,000 walkers will take part in the three routes across Glasgow, Clydebank and Loch Lomond.

To help passengers getting to and from the event, services will be boosted between Motherwell and Balloch, which serve stations around Clydebank and Glasgow city centre.

“It’s fantastic to see so many people take part in this year’s Kiltwalk in Glasgow, and we’re looking forward to helping customers get to and from their chosen routes.  

“ScotRail will be adding more seats on our direct services between Motherwell and Balloch, calling at stations around Glasgow city centre and Clydebank.

“We’re encouraging customers to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel, as services may be busier than usual.”
