On Saturday 20 April and Sunday 21 April, Network Rail engineers will lay new track between Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes, which will cause disruption to train services in the area.

Network Rail workers will upgrade track between Hessle and Hull, in Humberside.

The work will make train journeys more reliable and smoother in the future, but will disrupt the plans of passengers travelling with TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street and Cleethorpes, and passengers travelling with Hull Trains, TransPennine Express LNER and Northern in Humberside.

Buses will replace trains between Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes, between Brough and Hull (for Hull Trains passengers), and between Selby and Hull (for TransPennine Express passengers). The buses will operate between Selby, Goole, and Beverley to Hull.

Over the weekend, LNER services to and from Hull will start and terminate at Doncaster, with rail replacement coaches running between Doncaster, Selby, Brough and Hull.

Northern services will start and terminate at Selby for passengers travelling to and from York and Halifax, and at Goole for passengers travelling from Sheffield to Hull.

Trains from Scarborough and Bridlington will terminate at Beverley.
