Over the last few weeks, we have been covering our footage from the 2020 Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala.
We have now released the final part of the first disc of footage over on our YouTube Channel, and this can be watched below:
To start this episode, we take a trip from Damems to Haworth behind 5820 Big Jim, a locomotive that is currently out of service and awaiting an overhaul.
A lovely March sunset can be seen along the journey, which meant a fantastic day at the railway was slowly coming to an end.
But fear not, once we have seen the locomotive depart Haworth we head over to the sheds, where we see the likes of 78022 and 4144, visiting from the Didcot Railway Centre, being disposed of for the night.
We then head up to Haworth loop to see 5820 arrive back from Oxenhope after stabling its carriages there for the night.
We actually walked to Haworth Loop to see Taff Vale 85 and 45596 Bahamas here. The duo had double headed up to Haworth from Keighley, but Taff Vale 85 was coming off at Haworth, with 45596 heading up to Oxenhope.
With 85 now off the train, 45596 Bahamas then slips away into the night, taking passengers back to Oxenhope.
With the Jubilee heading for Oxenhope, we return to Haworth MPD to take some night photos and to see 45596 Bahamas return light engine back to the sheds, ready for another fun filled day the next day.
Further parts of this Gala will be uploaded in the coming weeks, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to see our latest videos.
