Recently uploaded to our YouTube channel, this video sees us take Flying Scotsman for a ride on the newly upgraded West Somerset Railway on Train Sim World 4.
We take the famous locomotive for a drive between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead, calling at all stations along the way for a look round.
The free upgrade sees new timetable services, upgraded scenery and more and makes the route a lot better to drive.
The upgrade was free for people who own the West Somerset Railway route and Train Sim World 4, but additional layers such as Flying Scotsman services require the correct DLC to also be purchased.
What do you think of the upgrade? Let us know in the comments below.

Definitely an improvement. I do think however that as a heritage railway, with a built steam timetable that can only be utilised with certain dlc, more steam engines need to be included with a heritage line
Definitely an improvement, makes the route far more interesting and you can watch mainline services pass now as well as the service bringing passengers on to the route to catch the connecting steam train. Scenery and dynamic weather are much improoved. All we need are some more steam locomotives.
