Rail disruption as wartime bomb found in West Yorkshire

services are being disrupted today after a wartime bomb was found near the railway between Leeds and Shipley.

All lines are currently blocked, with disrupted expected until the afternoon (at the time of writing, 14:45)

are due on site but means that services between Leeds and / Skipton / Carlisle and cannot run or may be changed to start / terminate at an earlier station.

Trains that run from Leeds to are unaffected as are trains that run from Skipton to Bradford Forster Square.

Passengers are being advised to travel via Bradford Interchange where possible.
