ScotRail is looking to fill a large number of vacancies as it launches its biggest recruitment drive for years.

Since last August the company has recruited over 200 new members of staff, and the human resources team is working hard to fill many vacancies.
With the rollout of new and improved catering services, 34 extra catering staff have been hired to satisfy demand.

To support enhanced reliability of its services, nearly 30 new conductors have been trained and over 30 engineers have been recruited, whilst 100 new members of frontline staff have been employed to provide enhanced customer service and support revenue protection.

Recruitment will continue through the new year, with the target for January focussing on more conductors, although there are many other roles on offer that all help to improve services and reliability.
