British Transport Police detectives are asking if anyone recognises the men shown in these photographs.
The images have been released by detectives as part of their investigations involving a serious assault with a knife that took place earlier this month at Eastbrook railway station on the line between Cardiff Central Barry, and Bridgend.
On Saturday, 13 January at about 4 pm, a 16-year-old boy standing in a shelter at Eastbrook railway station in Dinas Powys on the outskirts of Cardiff was approached by four men. One of the group of four men produced a knife and tried to repeatedly attack the boy, who was also threatened by another member of the group before they fled the scene.
Following the incident, the victim required stitches to his wounds.
Detectives believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation, but are also asking if anyone recognises them, or has any other information that could help them with their investigations.
If anyone has any information about the men or the incident, they are asked to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 435 of 13/01/2024.
Alternatively, anyone with information can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Detectives have also announced that three arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
