London North Eastern Railway is celebrating being named a UK Top Employer for the 5th year running by the Top Employers Institute.
The Institute is renowned around the world as an authority, recognising impressive and inspiring people practice and certifying organisations via their HR Best Practices Survey.
The UK Top Employer award celebrates areas of excellence within the workplace, including:

London North Eastern Railway’s continued achievement of being named a UK Top Employer clearly shows the rail operator’s ongoing dedication to building a positive working environment which is managed through the continual development of effective practices such as authentic people practices and policies with a key focus on understanding each LNER employees experience within the workplace.

‘Renowned around the world’. I had not heard of the Top Employers Institute before I read this. A nice award, I’m sure but begs the question why LNER drivers are still wanting to strike.
