The sound engineering, audio recording, and production company Steam Sounds Supreme has released a sound pack for Bossman Games‘ rebuilt Royal Scot locomotives for Train Simulator.

The sound pack adds immersive new sounds to Bossman’s Rebuilt Royal Scot locomotives and were recorded from the preserved Royal Scot locomotives 46100 Royal Scot and 46115 Scots Guardsman. A patch is included to add the new sounds to Vulcan Productions of Locomotive Services Limited 46100 repaint.

The new sound pack has been created with the full permission of Bossman Games, and included in the pack are;

• A brand-new immersive sound set;
• Distant and close-up exhaust effects;
• Pilot and main valve exhausts;
• Loops for higher speeds;
• New reproductions of Stanier whistles;
• New coasting sounds;
• New clank sounds;
• Steam era and preservation scenarios.
