Detectives have issued an appeal for anyone to contact them if they recognise the man in this photograph.
British Transport Police detectives who are investigating a report of a teenage girl being raped onboard a c2c train between Laindon and West Ham have released this CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
At around 12.30 am on Saturday, 9th December the victim boarded the train at Laindon station, and was then subjected to a sexual assault and was raped.
After following up a number of enquiries, Police Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help their investigation into the incident.
The Police have appealed for anyone who think they recognise the man or has any other information that could help their enquiries to contact British Transport Police by text on 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 25 of 09/12/23.

Heard about it on Essex Live and My London on Facebook. Makes you wonder why the transport can be very dangerous for young people especially when travelling alone or with friends.
