Police appeal for witnesses following assault on London Underground

British Transport Police detectives are appealing for help from anyone who witnessed an incident last month at Regents Park underground station.

The incident occurred at Regents Park underground station at about 2.40 pm on Remembrance Day, Saturday, 11 November, when someone was assaulted on a Bakerloo line train travelling in the direction of Baker Street to Regents Park.

During the assault, two men shouted antisemitic remarks at the victim, who was then punched by one of the men in the head, and fell to the floor of the platform at Regents Park station.

One suspect is described as black male thought to be in his late 20, with a stocky build and about 5ft. 8in. tall, and had a black bandana covering his face. The other suspect is described as an Asian male also thought to be in his late 20s, with a heavy build and about 6ft tall.

Detectives investigating the assault would like anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward and pass on any information they may have by contacting by text on 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 430 of 11/11/23.
