Thursday the 30th of November saw a 65-year-old man who was stopped and searched at Aberdeen Train Station at approximately 7.40am and was found to be carrying huge amounts of cannabis to the value of £60,000.
The man was arrested and charged and will appear today (1st December) at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
Detective Constable Daniel Connelly said:
“We are remain committed to tackling the supply of controlled drugs in the North East and pro-actively target the individuals intent on causing harm to our local communities.”
“We rely on the support of the public to help us take action to disrupt the drug trade.”
