The Spa Valley Railway in Royal Tunbridge Wells will host one of its most popular event in the new year.
Tickets are now available to book for Saturdays 20 January, 2, 16 and 23 March 2024 on the railway’s website.
The Kent Gin and Steam Experience departs from Tunbridge Wells West station at 3pm, and travels the five-and-a-half miles to Eridge and then back again. Each table will have a selection of three different gins supplied by Marden-based Anno Distillery, with the occasional guest gin too.
The Railway will also provide gin-drinkers with a bowl of ice, a selection of fruits to us as garnishes, and a complimentary Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water.
Passengers will be able to mix their gins to suit their taste in their very own branded Spa Valley Railway Balloon Gin glass, and canapés will also be served.
The Kent Gin train launched in early 2020, and tickets are likely to sell out.
Included in the £35 ticket price are:
- train travel from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge and return
- three individual 25ml Gins from the Anno Distillery (varies per train)
- one 200ml Fever Tree Indian Tonic water or other mixer dependent on seasonal gin cocktails
- a selection of canapés per person
- a branded Spa Valley Railway balloon gin glass
- additional gin cocktails at £6 each.

Whisky fans have not been forgotten, as the Kent Whisky Train will run on 24 February and 9 March 2024.
