Members of the public have been urged to come forward if they have any information relating to a serious public order offence at New Street station.

The event took place at around 08:25 on Tuesday 17 October.

officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to question.

On the day the offence took place, a man approached four girls who were sitting in the central walkway of the station, behind the statue of Ozzy the bull.  He began verbally abusing the girls before spitting at them.  He then walked off to the Blue Zone within the station.

  1. Surely in this day and age of 4k ultra hd cameras images should be better than this. Get the cameras upgraded across the network, health and safety budgets tend to be a bottomless pit so there should be the money there.
