Dovetail Games has announced the release by RSSLO of the type ÖBB 8073 Austrian push-pull passenger train for Train Simulator Classic.
The new unit is a suitable addition for CityShuttle passenger services. ÖBB introduced the type 8073 in the 1980s as a push-pull passenger unit, and converted it into the CityShuttle in the 1990s.

RSSLO has rebuilt the ÖBB 8073 in detail here for Train Simulator Classic. The locomotive pack features a Pflatsch control car, which was one of the first examples of this type in Austria, and matching carriages.
Included in the locomotive pack is an authentic cab car with realistic controls, SIFA and PZB 90 safety systems, and individual controls for in-cab features such as the side windows. The locomotive can be used with Quick Drive across many Austrian railway routes, and included in the pack are three custom-designed scenarios that allow players to control local passenger services on the Salzburg – Schwarzach – St. Veit route.
The ÖBB 8073 locomotive pack from RSSLO replicates a unique Austrian classic for use with Train Simulator from, and is available now on the Steam Store here.
