It will be developed and built in partnership with East Renfrewshire Council, and will improve public transport links between Barrhead, the 1350-acre Dams to Darnley Country Park, and Glasgow.

Preparation work for the proposed station site is already underway, and further information about the station is available here.

It also allows for a much-improved public transport link to Dams to Darnley Country Park.”
