London North Eastern Railway has launched its delicious First Class Christmas menu today, Wednesday, the 29th of November, which this year features a fantastic festive cocktail for the very first time.
Customers travelling in first class will be able to enjoy a Blood Orange Christmas Cosmo, which has been created exclusively for the rail operator by cocktail aficionado Tom Savano. The festive tipple also features zesty lime, cranberry and vodka and is sure to delight passengers, putting them in the mood for the Christmas Period.
The menu also provides for passengers who prefer a warm drink with Apple and Sweet Cinnamon tea which is produced by the Yorkshire-based family-run business, Taylors of Harrogate.
Available until Wednesday the 3rd of January, the First Class Christmas Menu will this year include delicious and comforting fare such as:
- Turkey and cranberry sausage roll which is topped with sage and black onion seeds and served with orange, spiced carrot and pumpkin Christmas ketchup
- Cheese and Christmas slaw sandwich served on malted wheat grain bread
- Decadent ravioli pasta pillows which contain a delightful creamy burrata, truffle and spinach sauce.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a sweet treat with this year’s menu, including:
- A smooth, rich chocolate and hazelnut dessert pot
- A portion of Baileys Chocolate Truffles
