Greater Anglia Advance Fares offer Christmas savings

To help its customers during the festive season, has a range of tickets that provide considerable savings if they are booked in advance.

Examples of Advance fares are a single ticket costing £10 for travel between London and Norwich, and £8 for a single ticket between London and . To gain the most benefit from the Advance fares, customers are advised to book well in advance.

Customers can also save money if they have a , with a range available including 16-25, 26-30, Disabled Persons, Family & Friends, Network, Senior, Veterans and Two Together.

These Railcards provide savings of up to a third off full-price tickets, while a 16-17 Saver Railcard gives a 50 per cent discount.

Greater Anglia Rail also has special savings for travellers who wish to spend an evening out in London and return home either the same evening or the next morning. The London Evening Out and London Overnight tickets cost just £25. These tickets are also available for customers travelling between stations between Norwich and Colchester, as well as branch lines such as to either Liverpool Street or Stratford.

“For the cheapest fares, customers should book directly on the Greater Anglia website or app.

“We also have a range of money-saving tips including GroupSave for groups of 3-9 people, who can save a third on their tickets while travelling together.

“Our Off-Peak fares also offer excellent value for money.

“Network Rail will be carrying out some engineering work this winter so customers are reminded to plan ahead and check before they travel.”
